Job Description
TITLE OF POSITION:
Anticipated LongTerm Substitute Physical Education Teacher
LOCATION:
Stony Brook Elementary School
DESCRIPTIVE STATEMENT
OF POSITION:
- Engages students in both team sports and individual activities while explaining the safe and correct way to engage in physical fitness
- Teaches social interaction skills as students learn and work together in the Physical Education setting
- Plans instruction that motivates and excites the students while emphasizing the importance of lifelong physical activity and awareness of self
- Recognizes and differentiates instruction that meets the needs of all students and abilities
- Plans engaging whole school programs/initiatives
- Provides opportunities for parent and community participation
QUALIFICATIONS:
Massachusetts Certification in Elementary Physical Education
Experience Preferred
SALARY:
Per prevailing contract
