Job Description
A growing company in Brooklyn is seeking a Junior Buyer to assist in product selection vendor negotiations and market research. This role involves working closely with store associates and the customer relationship management team to gather feedback analyze sales trends and support order placement.
Responsibilities Include:
- Assist in selecting and purchasing products that align with company goals.
- Negotiate terms with vendors to secure optimal pricing and delivery.
- Conduct market research to identify growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with store associates and the CRM team to gather product feedback.
- Prepare and analyze selling reports to optimize inventory decisions.
- Support order placement tracking and delivery coordination.
Ideal Qualifications:
- Basic knowledge of HVAC equipment is preferred.
- Familiarity with merchandise planning software is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills to assess sales data and trends.
- Effective communication and relationshipbuilding skills with colleagues and vendors.
Salary: $65k $80k/Year
