Collins Aerospaces Global Technical Solutions team is looking for a Senior Tech ECAD Drafting/Designer Services to join our Electronics ComputerAided Drafting (ECAD) organization. We are looking for a strong passionate problemsolver with an actionoriented collaborative mindset who strives to exceed expectations.

What You Will Do:

• Plans laysout and revises detailed part assembly and installation ECAD drawings from basic layouts references and schematics.

• Completes details of major layout drawings prepared by other in accordance with standard engineering drafting practices using computer aided design systems.

• Designs electrical equipment components products and systems for commercial industrial and domestic purposes.

• Prepares complete production detail drawings/models.

• Responsible for design and documentation of new or modified Printed Wiring Boards (PWBs) or Circuit Card Assemblies (CCAs)

• Relies on previous experience judgement and standard procedures to plan and accomplish assigned tasks and goals

• May assist in orienting training assigning and checking the work of team members

• Must be willing and able to travel 10 of the time

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Typically requires HS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2year post high school training) with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience

• U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this contract

• 4 years experience designing Printed Wiring Boards (PWB) and/or Circuit Card Assembly (CCA) with tools such as Mentor Graphics Zuken Valor Cadence etc.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience reading and understanding assembly drawings circuit card schematics and assembly instructions

• Familiarity with manufacturing equipment and quality assurance techniques

• Experience evaluating engineering processes and providing recommendations to increase efficiency

• Knowledge in Power Electronics is a plus.

Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles* will work primarily offsite (from home). An employee may be expected to travel to the site location as needed.

*This position is remote; however if you live within a reasonable commute of a Collins site with other colleagues you interact with your manager will discuss whether there is a degree of onsite presence associated with this role

The salary range for this role is 50000 USD 100000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role function and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience location education/training and key skills.
