Job Description
Our mission is to inspire children through science sparking lifelong imagination and curiosity. For over 30 years we have delivered unique handson science experiences for children through our afterschool programs birthday parties workshops special events and summer camps. Our innovative programs are as entertaining as they are educational!
As a Mad Scientist you will lead students through an inquirybased discovery methods involving instructor demonstrations handson activities and amazing takehome projects that will illustrate how science affects the world around us. Mad Science is the worlds leading provider of fun science programs for elementaryaged children.
- Deliver 1 hour afterschool science enrichment programs using a preset easytounderstand curriculum.
- Each session is highenergy. Its part entertainment part education through a handson afterschool class that meets for one hour each week for 6 or 8 weeks.
- You will be scheduled on programs close to home two or more afternoons per week.
- Mileage reimbursement policy for any program over 25 miles round trip.
- $40 for every 1.5 hour program.
- Experience working with children.
- A reliable car.
- Fun and outgoing personality!
- Must be comfortable undergoing a background check.
- Availability 2 or more afternoons per week between 2:305:30PM.
