Job Description
Your role: The senior scientist translational in vivo pharmacology translational innovation platform oncology will lead a research laboratory within the area of in vivo pharmacology oncology and be a team member and/ or leader of multidisciplinary drug discovery and development teams within the area of Oncology. The role provides scientific expertise in Drug Discovery and Drug Development Projects within the area of Oncology. It represents Translational In Vivo Pharmacology Oncology in multidisciplinary teams and represents Lead Drug discovery Project Teams according to the expertise and seniority of the incumbent. As senior scientist you take responsibility to successfully accomplish critical project related activities you propose and initiate drug discovery programs and contribute to the evaluation of external program proposals. The role manages and coordinates the design implementation and reporting of research experiments of your laboratory in the area of cancer pharmacology.
Who you are:
- PhD with 3 years of jobrelated experience (at least 1 year of related experience in a pharmaceutical or biotechnology company)
- Excellent knowledge in Oncology research in animal models of cancer and a pertinent publication record
- Basic understanding of in vitro pharmacology biomarker research and good knowledge of the drug discovery process
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Fluency in English written and oral
