Job Description
Description of the role:
The Inhome Caregiver at Village Caregiving Bowling Green is responsible for providing highquality care and support to individuals in their own homes. As an Inhome Caregiver you will play a crucial role in assisting clients with activities of daily living promoting their independence and enhancing their overall wellbeing.
Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing grooming and dressing.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding.
- Assist with light housekeeping duties and maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
- Accompany clients to appointments and outings.
- Monitor and report any changes in the clients condition to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
Requirements:
- Prior experience as a caregiver or in a related field is preferred.
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with clients.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a positive attitude.
- Flexibility to work on a rotating schedule including weekends and holidays.
- Ability to lift and maneuver heavy objects.
