Job Description

Job Summary:
The Body Shop Painter at Jenkins Collision Center of Leesburg is responsible for applying paint and other cosmetic finishes to vehicles undergoing repair. This individual will work as part of a team to ensure the highest quality paint work is completed on every vehicle while also meeting productivity goals. This is a full time salaried position in the auto industry located in xx Florida.

Responsibilities:
Prepare surfaces for painting by sanding priming and masking as necessary
Mix and match paint colors to ensure a seamless finish
Paint vehicles using appropriate techniques and equipment
Inspect finished paint work for quality and address any touchups or imperfections
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Adhere to all safety protocols and standards
Collaborate with colleagues to ensure efficient workflow and meet productivity goals
Keep track of inventory and order necessary supplies as needed
Complete additional tasks and assignments as directed by superiors

Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Proven experience as an auto body painter required
Knowledge of various painting techniques and tools
Ability to match paint colors using computerized systems
Strong attention to detail and time management skills
Ability to work in a fastpaced team environment
Must have a valid drivers license with a clean driving record
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
