Job Description

We are Woody Buick GMC in Gurnee Chicaoglands fastest growing General Motors dealership focused on customer satisfaction and community. We are seeking New Vehicle Managerthat ispassionate about providing an exceptional experience for customers and their team. The Woody Sales team is the face of the dealer sales experience. Their hard work makes it possible to uphold Woodys company philosophy providing quality vehicles and the best possible service. Their smiles and pleasant demeanor keep customers coming back time and time again.

Compensation: $120000 $200000 annually

Responsibilities:

  • Drive sales results through management and direct customer engagement
  • Manage sales activities pipeline production and pace to consistently meet objectives
  • Motivate the sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets by providing leadership coaching and guidance
  • Recruit train and mentor staff to foster a positive work environment and drive performance excellence
  • Engage motivate and demonstrate commitment to supporting the sales floor in achieving goals
  • Attract develop and retain thebest people for the dealership
  • Maintain exceptional employee and customer experience by addressing concerns andresolving issues promptly
  • Monitor and train on sales process to provide aconsistent customer experience
  • Take ownership for the success and profitability of the sales department
  • Facilitate the negotiation and financing processes ensuring that customers understand their vehicle purchase options and pricing
  • Structure deals properly includingincentives lender programs and sales taxes
  • Obtain lender approvals and collaborate with the finance department
  • Monitor inventory levels aging pricing strategies and vehicle merchandising to maximize sales opportunities
  • Collaborate with managers to execute a successfulinventory management strategy
  • Review results and develop action plansto improve performance
  • Ensures all deals are fully compliant with company and OEMguidelines
  • Ensure compliance with company policies industry regulations and ethical standards in all sales activities
  • Be an example of professionalism morals ethics andcustomer service

Qualifications:

  • Exceptional customer service and organizational skills
  • Prior management experience in a retail automotive sales finance and leasing (General Motors is a plus)
  • Strong ability to negotiate and structure deals
  • Capable of paying attention to details while multitasking
  • Ability to work both independently and within a team environment
  • Strong desire to set and achieve goals
  • Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills
  • Above average to advanced computer skills
  • Valid instate drivers license
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements
