Job Description & Summary

At PwC our people in business application consulting specialise in consulting services for a variety of business applications helping clients optimise operational efficiency. These individuals analyse client needs implement software solutions and provide training and support for seamless integration and utilisation of business applications enabling clients to achieve their strategic objectives.

In SAP programme management at PwC you will focus on overseeing and managing largescale SAP implementation projects within an organisation. You will work closely with business leaders project managers and technical teams to define project objectives develop project plans allocate resources monitor progress and mitigate risks. Working in SAP programme management you will coordinate multiple projects resources and stakeholders to enable successful delivery of SAP solutions.

You are expected to anticipate the needs of your teams and clients and to deliver quality. Project Delivery
Manage multiple projects. Actively create orchestrate and manage project structure and plan for
effective delivery / and overall project governance (Timelines Budget Project staffing
Delivery Communication and Quality adherence)
Ownership of all PMO activities from start to finish.
Effectively identify and manage dependencies within the project
Lead PMO intervention by supporting leadership and bring in efficiencies and standardization.
Overseeing / maintaining project documentation as per PMO processes within the project life cycle
Actively build positive and collaborative project working environment with clients onshore and AC
teams.

Set up and lead effective governance with PMO processes to manage the delivery RAID (Risks
Actions Issues and Decision) deliverables project and quality stage gates schedule resourcing and
costs. Project Delivery to be OnTime and within budget

Effectively manage projects quality metrics / KPIs to Track Green at all times take corrective actions
for blockers put in proactive measures to overcome issue that impact project heath

Adopt and advocate usage of firm prescribed tools and software to manage project data staffing
requirements estimations project finance etc.

Monitor and manage team goals performance and ensure team understands how they align and
relate to broader business goals and strategies of the project

Manage Projects plans on Jira / Inhouse tools as applicable
Implement and execute project in Agile / firm prescribed methodology
Take ownership for knowledge sharing within the project and AC SAP PMO capability
Accountable for project tracking and reportingaccurate project status. Drive Insights for informed
decisions

Oversee / manage proactive stakeholder management

SAP Ops Support:
Monitor and track AC SAP Ops initiatives. Followup / escalate as needed to effectively meet the initiative
objectives
Engage in Quality framework set for effective project delivery
Contribute to PMO process standardization drive adoption and adherence
Drive improvements into the PMO capability with industry best practices and pertinent measures
Contribute to AC SAP PMO training framework
Support in training new joiners in AC SAP PMO team
Contribute to AC SAP PMO capability in Modernization and maturity aspects
Support project pursuits as needed from AC SAP Ops
Documentation:
Responsible for proper documentation of all project artefacts for all phases of project lifecycle
Ensure all client deliverables are internally validated meet firms quality standards before they are handed over
to clients
Project Staffing:
Work with Engagement Teams for project staffing estimates and forecast. Fully own PMO activities in area of
staff demand fulfilment.
Closely work with the deployment team for fulling the staffing requirements on time.
Create and manage Onboarding and offboarding guidelines / activities
Oversight / manage on Time booking reports & actuals tracking
Must Have
SAP implementation experience is a mandatory (Global and largescale projects preferred)
SAP application: Very good understanding
Software Development Life Cycle Expert knowledge and experience
IT Project Management Very high level of understanding
IT Service Management: Very good understanding
Very Strong IT SAP PMO knowledge to execute / manage activities from offshore that
includes/support project initiation cost management communication preparing status quality
management/ monitoring resource management risk management etc.

Advanced knowledge of PM tool such as SAP Solution Management MS Project Plan JIRA etc.
Must have experience in Agile methodology / Lean concepts (PMP/Agile certifications preferred)
