Job Description
Description
Primary responsibilities will be working in the Metal Lab and may include any of the below listed Quality Functions:
- Calibrate and Trouble test equipment
- Chemistry evaluations using Metal Spectrometers and CS Meters
- Retrieve and Test Sand
- Microstructure Evaluations
- Brinell Hardness Testing
- Mechanical Property Testing
- Use of Hand Measuring Tools
- Perform basic calibrations of measuring devices (Calipers Mics etc.
- Basic computer skills generating and sending test results/reports
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications(education experience skills personal attributes):
- High School Diploma required
- Basic computer knowledge required
- Good Communication and Teamwork skills required
- Foundry experience preferred
- Knowledge of measuring equipment preferred
