Job Description

Duties And Responsibilities
Maintain system for documenting and tracking records for all capital fixed assets. Ensure accurate and compliant tracking and recording of capital assets in accordance with state federal and university policies. Serve as a resource to departments for inquiries regarding university property inventory requirements or capital surplus property providing service excellence. Conduct periodic physical inventories in a variety of locations inside and outside across campus and remote agriculture experiment locations of state titled federally owned and USDA equipment; work with department to resolve discrepancies. Work with departments to dispose of assets and coordinate periodic university surplus property events and public sales. Maintain physical storage space for surplus property including shifting items for display.
