About this Position:

TJFACT is seeking a highly qualified Okta Expert EA System Engineer Level II to support the Bureau of the Fiscal Service (FS) on behalf of the Office of Financial Research (OFR) in Washington DC!

The mission of the OFR is to support the Financial Stability Oversight Council (FSOC) in promoting financial stability by: collecting data on behalf of FSOC; providing such data to FSOC and member agencies; standardizing the types and formats of data reported and collected; performing applied research and essential longterm research; developing tools for risk measurement and monitoring; performing other related services; making the results of the activities of the OFR available to financial regulatory agencies; and assisting such member agencies in determining the types of formats of data authorized to be collected by such memberagencies.

The Okta Expert EA System Engineer Level II will coordinate and/or perform additions and changes to network hardware and operating systems and attached devices; includes investigation analysis recommendation configuration installation and testing of new network hardware and software.

This role is contingent upon reward.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

• Experience with Okta includes installation configuration andmigrations.
• Troubleshoot advanced problems within the Okta IdP by using tools such as SAML tracer Fiddler and other similar tools.
• Integrate applications with SAML OpenID Connect RADIUS andOauth.
• Integrate applications with Multi Factor/Password lessAuthentication
• Provide Proof of Concepts and Pilots for Advancing Zero Trust integrationinfrastructure.
• Support of primarily Microsoft 365 stack (Exchange Online (hybrid) Intune Entra ID TeamsOneDrive)
• Systems Administration: Knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server Platforms Active Directory Group Policy as well as basic MS SQL administration.
• Ensure that all Group Policy Management (GPM) changes are controlled anddocumented.
• Measure and monitor metrics identify trends and report standings and findings to management and otherstakeholders.
• Participating in meetings with executives to discuss technical issues and proposesolutions.
• Collaborating with other members of the engineering team to design new features or improve existingones.
• Escalate issues to vendor and thirdparty entities asnecessary.
• Other operational support duties asassigned.
• Experience leading engineering projects from start tofinish.
• Provide support to technical leaders by coordinating activities pertaining to the development documentation and maintenance associated with changes to the system.
• Ability to work and deliver short response tasking in a fastpacedenvironment.

• Provide direct support in the daytoday operations on network hardware and operating systems including the evaluation of system utilization monitoring response time and primary support for detection and correction of operational problems.
• Troubleshoot at the physical level of the network working with network measurement hardware and software as well as physical checking and testing of hardware devices at the logical level working with communication protocols.
• Maintain network infrastructure standards including network communication protocols such as TCP/IP.
• Provide technical consultation training and support to IT staff as designated by the Government.

Required Qualifications:

• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• Ability to maintain a Public Trust High (Tier 4/BI) Risk Level
• Must be Okta Certified
• Ten 10 or more years of IT experience
• Three 3 direct years of experience in engineering and providing operations support for Okta SSO solutions.
• Experience as a remote worker demonstrating time management and selfdiscipline with cultural change management and Agile mindset.
• Handson experience migrating applications to implement Okta.
• Strong knowledge of the different identity and access management (IAM) concepts technologies and authentication protocols.
• Intimately familiar with IAM related protocols such as SAML SPML XACML SCIM OAuth OIDC OpenID and REST APIs and other security interfaces.
• Strong experience with Directories SSO Federation Delegated administration API gateways SOA services.
• An understanding of Zero Trust concepts.
• Active Directory including but not limited to:
  • Microsoft Active Directory/Azure Active Directory (EntraID)
  • Privileged access management (PAM) systems such as Beyond Trust
  • Handson experience with cloud computing services (O365/Microsoft Azure/AWS)
  • Experience with SailPoint IdentityIQ integration and operations
  • Experience with network architecture
  • Experience with Windows PowerShell scripting
