ReMilNet LLC is seeking a qualified Network Engineer to support a Special Operations Communications Systems Program. This program serves as the medium for exchange of Command Control Communications Computers and Intelligence (C4I) information between headquarters their subordinate units and other government agencies and activities associated with Special Operations Forces. The Program has Synchronous Optical Networking Transport (SONET) infrastructure backbone with various entry points transport hubs and nodes around the world. The supported Program provides the infrastructure and services to enable Wide Area Network (WAN) transport connectivity and Voice/Video services within the Information Enterprise.
This position requires a motivated team player with a detail driven personality that works well supporting a diverse staff across multiple functional areas and locations. This position works closely with program and contractor staff with backgrounds that include engineering development integrators cybersecurity installers and staff at supported locations. Individuals must be proactive and be able to collaborate present and disseminate technical and nontechnical information to peers customers and external agencies as required.
Position Duties:
- Designing analyzing and reviewing engineering drawing packages for new and upgrading locations. Drawings include floorplans and circuit layouts.
- Assisting in coordinating and scheduling installations of equipment across its lifecycle to include requirements analysis; project management procedures Work Breakdown Schedules (WBS) and compliance planning.
- Coordinating with lab managers logisticians and regional engineering leads to perform and/or support network and/or bench testing of equipment.
- Assisting the Lab Engineer with preparation of equipment required to support emergent requirements.
- Performing site surveys and integration tasks.
- Receiving inspecting conducting inventory and documenting the transfer or shipment of materials and equipment required for network integration tasks.
- Performing Operational Testing and Evaluation (OT&E) and troubleshooting upon completion of retrofits
- Performing the removal and disposition of legacy equipment.
- Coordinating managing and supporting IPT and Working Group meetings participate in daily meetings and support technical documentation/system reviews.
- Providing general programmatic support such as meeting participation taking meeting minutes tracking action items updating briefing slides and providing program updates and recommendations.
- Assisting with the identification of program efficiencies conducting research developing courses of action and tracking areas of improvement as identified.
- Providing other program support as identified.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Have Technical Training in DoD C5ISR systems. Advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 15 years of handson experience with Joint Warfighter C5ISR to include three 3 of the following four 4 areas:

- Preferred certifications include: Security Network CCNA CCNP
- Minimum Secret Clearance with TS/SCI eligibility.
- Current Passport for overseas travel.
