Job Description
CAPITAL is seeking a detailoriented Automotive Body Shop Helper to join our team. An Automotive Body Shop Helper plays a crucial role in supporting the operations of an automotive body shop. This entrylevel position involves assisting technicians and other staff in various tasks to ensure a smooth workflow and efficient repair process. The helper should be detailoriented able to follow instructions and willing to learn about automotive repair processes.

Automotive Body Shop Helper Responsibilities:
- Assist technicians with basic tasks related to automotive body repairs such as sanding prepping surfaces and masking
- Retrieve and deliver tools parts and materials as needed
- Assist in receiving organizing and cataloging parts and materials for repairs
- Tape off sections of vehicles as directed by technicians for painting
- Provide assistance and information as directed by supervisors
- Learn and acquire new skills related to automotive body repairs through onthejob training
- Wash and clean vehicles before and after repairs to ensure a proper working surface
- Other duties assigned
Automotive Body Shop Helper Requirements:
- Previous experience in an automotive repair setting is a plus
- Basic knowledge of automotive tools and equipment
- Physical ability to perform tasks that may involve standing for extended periods lifting and bending
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work
- Willingness to learn and take on additional responsibilities over time
- Must pass preemployment background screenings
