Job Description

Liberty FCU a fullservice credit union is currently seeking a Mortgage Lending Sales Manager to join the team in the Louisville area. Significant mortgage loan origination and proven leadership/managerial skills are required. This could be a producing or nonproducing manager role depending on experience and situation. Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Responsible for supporting the RVP of Mortgage Sales to effectively support and grow mortgagevolume in the area.
    • Recruit and assist in the hiring process to continue to build our team.
    • Implement manage and track goals for the individuals in the salesteam.
    • Mentor monitor and coach sales staff to build referral network and meet salesgoals.
    • Provide guidance to sales staff regarding goals service procedures and products.
  • Work with the RVP of Mortgage Sales to forecast monthly/annual production volumes and goals. Develop recommend for approval and implement strategy for achieving production goals.
  • Provide assistance in resolving member problems and concerns.
  • Facilitate credit union employee mortgage loans.
  • Continuallybuild new business and member relations by representing and promoting the credit union at external functions while maintaining a positive and professionalimage.
  • Conduct research analyze and make recommendations for product enhancements and new mortgage programs.
  • Keep the RVP of Mortgage Sales informed of mortgage origination activities needs and issues. Prepare and submit applicable loan reports.
  • Conduct annual performance evaluations for direct reports.
  • Provide exceptional member service.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of previous mortgage loan originationexperience.
  • Minimum 3 years in a leadership or managerial role leading a sales team.
  • NMLS licensingand continuing education is required.
  • Working knowledge of conventional and government loan programs.
  • Experience with CRM and LOS system preferred.
  • Excellent time management skills as well as verbal and written communication skills.
  • Utilize automated UW systems LOS system email and other technologiesto issue point of sales approvals lockins and for customer service and follow up purposes.
  • Must adhere to all company procedures policies and state/federal laws.
  • Must be able to achieve all aspects of job performance while adhering to the company Mission Vision and Values.
  • Must havethe ability to pass a background check and a preemployment drug screening.
