Job Description
Job Summary:The School of Business is seeking qualified adjunct faculty to teach facetoface courses on the university campus in one or more of the following areas: accounting finance business analytics and other general businessrelated courses. We are looking for dedicated dependable Christian individuals who love students love teaching and preferably have some teaching experience.
Job Duties:
- Prepare instructional materials and instructs students in Speech or other Communication courses
- Perform duties associated with instructing and assessing student progress in a timely manner including grading and required record keeping based on university guidelines
- Use strong organizational and time management skills to teach wellprepared classes
- Mentor and nurture students with a compassionate Christlike spirit for the purpose of supporting and encouraging them academically and spiritually
Minimum Requirements: Masters degree with 18 graduate semester hours in a business discipline.
Salary Schedule: Salary is based upon a per course fee as determined by the University. No benefits are offered for this position.
Special Instructions to Applicants: Unofficial transcripts should be from the college or university which verifies minimum qualifications for the position. Upon an offer of employment official college transcripts will be required.
Special Requirement:An expressed commitment to Jesus Christ the teachings and mission of the Seventhday Adventist Church and a SDA church member in good and regular standing preferred but not required.
