Job Summary
Coordinates the implementation quality control and completion of research studies while assisting the Principal Investigator in determining and accomplishing study objectives. Oversees research studies in an administrative and operational capacity while maintaining compliance with guidelines set by governing agencies. This position will support the Utah AIDS Education and Training Center UAETC in implementing needsbased HIV training and capacitybuilding programs throughout Utah. The role involves recruiting and consulting with clinical providers to optimize integrating public health prevention practices and methods into healthcare settings. Responsibilities include outreach and training primary care providers to incorporate public health principles and prevention initiatives into their clinical practice. The overarching goal is to enhance providers prevention services guide decisionmaking around appropriate biomedical interventions and improve the quality of care for individuals at increased risk.
Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS : Develop Short Targeted Educational Modules: o Scope: Create concise educational modules on specific STI related topics such as PrEP PEP or Syphilis. These modules should be tailored to audiences. Assisting with the Preparation of Training Presentations: o Scope: Collaborate with other subject matter experts to prepare presentations for upcoming training sessions. Conducting Literature Reviews and Summarizing Key Findings: o Scope: Conduct brief literature reviews on specific topics related to STI prevention and treatment such as emerging trends new treatment guidelines or innovative interventions. Summarize key findings in a concise and accessible format for dissemination to healthcare providers. Developing and Maintaining Educational Resources o Scope: Create and maintain a repository of educational resources such as brochures fact sheets and patient handouts on various STI related topics. Supporting the Implementation of New Initiatives: o Scope: Assist with implementing new STI prevention and treatment initiatives such as pilot programs or outreach campaigns.
