- SystemLevel Testing and Debugging: Innovate program and execute systemlevel tests for complex mixedsignal ICs using Python MATLAB and lab equipment such as arbitrary waveform generators (AWG) oscilloscopes and network analyzers. Collaborate with designers to debug understand and document new designs.
- Model Development: Work closely with architecture and design teams to develop systemlevel models for evaluating nextgeneration technologies.
- ASIC Design Flow Proficiency: Gain a comprehensive understanding of various aspects of ASIC design flow including design layout simulation and timing analysis to identify potential issues and weaknesses in designs.
- Technical Support and Collaboration: Provide technical solutions and support to customers Field Application Engineers and Test Engineers. Generate professional test reports and conduct comparative performance analyses of test devices.
What Were Looking For
- Educational Background: Masters degree in Electrical Engineering or related fields with 25 years of experience.
- Technical Expertise: Proficiency in hardware applications and validation engineering particularly with mixedsignal ICs. Strong knowledge of analog and digital electronic circuits as well as signal processing.
- Programming Skills: Experience with scripting languages such as Python or MATLAB.
- Equipment Proficiency: Handson experience with lab equipment including oscilloscopes network analyzers and AWGs.
- Debugging Experience: Skilled in debugging at both board and IC levels.
- Customer Interaction: Experience supporting customers is advantageous.
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Team Collaboration: A flexible proactive attitude with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Expected Base Pay Range (USD)
$ per annumThe successful candidates starting base pay will be determined based on jobrelated skills experience qualifications work location and market conditions. The expected base pay range for this role may be modified based on market conditions.
