A permanent opportunity has become available for an Integrated Water Cycle Engineer to develop and facilitate the delivery of CNs WaterSensitive City (WSC) Action Plan as a key deliverable of the Newcastle Environment Strategy (NES) and CNs 10year road map for a sustainable Newcastle.
As a member of our team you wont just work for the city; youll cocreate it. Here your ideas and efforts directly shape the places where you and your community live work and play.
You will apply your skills and experience to identify opportunities to drive CN to becoming a watersensitive city through governance community engagement adaptive infrastructure resource efficiency and mitigation of flood impacts as well as enhancing open spaces and ecological health through creating public spaces that collect clean and recycle water.
As the subject matter expert you will also provide specialist advice to internal and external stakeholders regarding the application of best practice urban water management and facilitate the integration of watersensitive city principles into CNs policies plans and projects.

Remuneration: $120061.83 CLA 11.5 Superannuation per annum for a 35hour week
