Job Description
Introduction
Our client is seeking to appoint a Procurement & Stock Controller to join their team in Addo. This position will be responsible for overseeing the procurement process as well as maintaining the stock inventories to meet business requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for monitoring suppliers raw materials finished goods and ensuring that approved purchases are costefficient and of high quality.
Arrange the ontime delivery of finished goods and raw materials for production and sales (local and international).
Assist the Production Manager to develop implement and maintain inventory control systems.
Assist the PMto obtain and maintain primary and secondary supplier for all raw materials and services and list all suppliers per product and service in a supplier database to be maintained and regularly reviewed.
Assist the PM to develop and maintain servicelevel agreements with all current suppliers.
Assist the PM to review product price and lead time improvements annually with all suppliers.
Maintaining accurate procurement records/data (purchase requests purchase orders supplier invoices supplier database which includes preferred suppliers secondary suppliers SLAs etc).
Assist the PM to calculate reorder points and most economical transport quantities to implement the most effective stock holding and ordering quantity.
Daily processing of all goods manufactured sped reworked received transferred or sold in the accounting system. This includes identifying changes and making adjustments for new products or processes.
Maintain accurate inventory levels of finished goods raw materials and work in progress stock.
Maintain proper storage and security of raw materials and finished goods in all locations and sale depots.
Ensure that the correct inventory is loaded/unloaded during transport and stored as per protocol.
Coordinate and perform inventory stock counts and the reconciliation of inventory on hand at the end of each reporting period.
Investigate reasons for stock variances and ensure that corrective and preventative measures are implemented.
Assist the PM to develop meaningful reports for maximum and minimum stock holding stock purchases stock adjustments reorder points economic order quantities inventory turns stock transfers sales and work in progress reports.

Desired Experience & Qualification
Education Training & Skills
- Matric certification.
- A Diploma in relevant field would be advantageous.
- Must be an Avdvanced Excel user.
- 2 years experience in inventory control/procurement.
- Knowledge of inventory control procedures and practices.
- Valid Drivers license.
- Valid forklift License will be advantageous.
- Must be physically fit to pick up items from the floor carry/move items.
- Computer Literate (Pastel and Excel to a moderate level).
