Conduct troubleshooting maintenance inspection and repair tasks on various industrial machinery including bucket elevators screw conveyors pumps fans and large rotating equipment like kilns and ball mills.
Utilize schematics diagrams manuals and technical instructions to diagnose issues and perform necessary repairs.
Undertake minor fabrication and rigging work as required including creating hand sketches and drawings.
Perform preventative maintenance activities such as cleaning lubrication and calibration.
Adhere to company health and safety policies and comply with legal regulations during fieldwork
Document completed work and detailed notes accurately in the CMMS database on a daily basis.
Qualifications:
Proficient in operating heavy industrial machinery.
Possess strong computer problemsolving analytical communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent organizational and communication abilities.
Capable of safely lifting up to 50lbs regularly and adhering to PPE requirements.
Comfortable with regular stair climbing.
Experienced in rigging and fabrication welding.
Knowledgeable in hydraulics pneumatics compressors and basic control systems PLCs instrumentation and electrical equipment.
Preference for candidates with a 433A license Certificate of Qualification and Certificate of Apprenticeship.
Previous experience in a heavy industrial environment particularly in cement or mining surface plants is advantageous.
