LAN/WAN Engineer

This position requires an active TS/Sensitive Compartmental Information (SCI) clearance with the ability to obtain a Counterintelligence polygraph.

Criterion Systems LLC is seeking a missionfocused LAN/WAN Engineer to support and contribute to our government customers success in Washington DC or Reston VA.

Compensation & Benefits:

Estimated Starting Salary Range for LAN/WAN Engineer: $140000 $190000

Pay commensurate with experience.

Full time benefits include Medical Dental Vision 401K and other possible benefits as provided. Benefits are subject to change with or without notice.

LAN/WAN Engineer Responsibilities Include:

• Serve as a leader in the local and widearea networking; highly sought by others for advice and guidance.
• Serve as a technical expert on established and adhoc project teams providing technical direction interpretation and alternatives on existing and new services to meet both architectural and operational needs
• Provide expertise in Information Systems Architecture Telecommunications Systems Design Architecture Implementation Information Systems Integration and Communications and Network Systems Management
• May manage small teams of engineers and related technical staff such as cyber specialists and testers.
• Provide insight into cutting edge technologies integrations and capabilities
• Consult with other engineers team leads or customer stakeholders on requirements technical direction.
• Provide expertise on deep knowledge of and handson experience with Cisco Juniper F5 Aruba Ruckus Versa NOM NetScout and/or related network components or network monitoring and management tools
• Provide expertise on BPG OSPF Tunnels (GRE SudeoWire VPN L2TP) Spine and Leaf and BGP Peering.
• Performs other jobrelated duties as assigned

LAN/WAN Engineer Experience Education Skills Abilities requested:

• Active Top Secret/SCI security clearance with the ability to obtain a Counterintelligence polygraph
• Years of experience with one of the following:
  • High School/GED plus eleven 11 years of relevant experience
  • Associate degree plus nine 9 years of relevant experience
  • Bachelors degree plus seven 7 years of relevant experience
  • Masters degree plus five 5 years of relevant experience
  • PhD plus three 3 years of relevant experience
• IAT II Certification
• CCNP or CCIE Certification
• Must pass preemployment qualifications of Cherokee Federal
