Job Description
A growing organization is seeking a Training & development Managerto lead the development implementation and evaluation of comprehensive training programs ensuring they align with organizational goals and regulatory standards. This role involves managing a training team fostering a culture of continuous learning and addressing diverse employee development needs.
Responsibilities Include:
- Collaborating with supervisors to assess and identify training requirements.
- Developing highquality training materials and resources.
- Coordinating training schedules with department heads to meet operational needs.
- Maintaining a userfriendly knowledge base for staff reference.
- Mentoring the training team to ensure effective program delivery and consistent content quality.
- Ensuring all training initiatives comply with regulatory standards.
- Traveling between Spring Valley NY and Brooklyn NY as needed to oversee training operations.
Ideal Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of experience in training and development preferably in the home care industry.
- Proven supervisory or managerial experience with the ability to lead and inspire a team.
- Strong understanding of adult learning principles and diverse training methodologies.
- Proficiency in training software and tools including Learning Management Systems (LMS).
- Excellent communication leadership and organizational skills.
- Flexibility to travel and a commitment to fostering a culture of learning and growth.
Additional Information:
- Parttime may be an option for qualified candidates.
- This role reports directly to the Executive Director.
Salary: $100k $130k/Year
