The Position: We are seeking a dynamic Cardiac Surgery Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse to join our team. You would be part of a phenomenal team that works hard to support each other while providing excellent care to our patients in a collaborative manner. You will have the unique ability to float between several different areas across the nursing spectrum. Our Client is the following compensation and benefits:
- $27 to $39.50 per hour
- Shift Differential:
- Weekends: $2 per hour
- Nights: $$3 per hour
- Specialty Differential for this Unit: $2.50 per hour
- Sign On Bonus:
- Nights Up to $25000 (Depending on years of experience)

Requirements:
- 1 years of Acute Care RN experience
- Does not necessarily need to be in the ICU but good Acute Care Background is required
- Compact license: 3 or more years of experience as an RN will be considered consider
- BLS required
- ACLS required within 6 months of hire
- BSN is preferred
- CCRN a plus but must be obtained within 2 years. NIHSS stroke certification required within 30 days.
Responsibilities:
- Shifts:
- Cardiac Surgery Intensive Care Unit setting
- Assess the patients condition during admission and each scheduled shift promptly identifying and reporting any changes in patient status.
- Perform procedures monitoring or other functions as ordered by the medical provider(s) and ensure thorough and timely documentation of care administration in the patients medical record. Administer prescribed medications monitor the patient for therapeutic response and take appropriate action in the event of an unintended response to the medication.
- Provide exceptional care by responding promptly to patient requests proactively anticipating patient needs and resolving them.
