Job Description
The Location for this role is in: Laconia New Hampshire United States
JOB SUMMARY: This position is responsible for determining all costs of materials outside and inside process operations to arrive at a total manufacturing cost and suggested selling price for all of the divisions products.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Determine tooling and fixturing necessary for the manufacture of the products.
- Determine lead time and costs for same. Review gaging methods and cost/lead time for new gaging and inspection techniques.
- Communicate with internal support groups as well as external suppliers to define technical and process requirements for quoted products.
- Assist Product Engineering in Customer and Industry standard specification review/implementation.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Degree in mechanical or industrial Engineering preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills
- Well organized and able to work in a fast paced time restricted manufacturing environment effectively and efficiently
- Experienced in defining process sequences in metal turning milling grinding heat treating forming and stamping for Aerospace alloys and polymer composites is required.
- Experience in Microsoft Office Products (Word and Power Point)
- Basic understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance (GD&T).
