Job Description
Overview
Field Service Technician
This position requires 75 percent travel and our Service Technicians trek the globe! You will be expected to stay out on the road and away from home for three weeks at a time (During your week off you will be paid for a full 40 hour work week). This travel may include domestic and international travel. All techs are expected to live within one hours travel from a major airport. Successful candidates must possess most of the required skills listed below:
Necessary skills and attributes
- Strong Electrical (Industrial A/C &D/C drives PLC knowledge Siemens Step7 a plus!
- Mechanical abilities
- Open to 75 travel!
- Willing to travel internationally!
- Must have clear and active drivers licenses
- Must be able to obtain a passport!
- Basic computer skills required
- Communication skills
- Ability to read electrical & hydraulic schematics
- Electrical & hydraulic experience 3 to 5 years
- Troubleshooting skills
- Siemens knowledge a plus!
