About the role:
We are currently seeking a journalist for our WIN News service based in Rockhampton. Working in a regional newsroom offers an experience like no other allowing you the opportunity to take ownership of your market and report on all rounds. In areas such as the environment sport politics you name it you have the control to make a difference within the community. This environment allows you to make a difference in news and is truly rewarding work.
Reporting to the State News Director you will be responsible for researching compiling and producing high quality news stories for our weekday news bulletins. Youll liaise with editors and camera operators to ensure our bulletins meet deadline and are of the highest standards. This is a fulltime position working Monday Friday.
