Why this role matters
At Labforward we are building the first digital voicepowered lab assistant that aims to close the realtime documentation gap at the bench. It helps scientists document when their hands are busy using voice thus helping them focus on their work and not on tedious documentation.
We are looking for an experienced frontend engineer to build out our web applications. You will work closely with data scientists designers and product managers to define scope and implement backend solutions to further improve our product. You will be instrumental in owning parts of the architecture implementation and deployment of our web services.
What youll do
Deliver Highquality apps from designing and iterating new features into production.
Work in an agile and crossfunctional team of Mobile BE and FE engineers.
Take a handson and proactive approach in all sprints and tasks.
Take full ownership of FE epics as a tech owner of the task.
Work on different products from our customerfacing webapps to backoffice tools to help with internal business needs
Support and drive crossstream architecture
What were looking for
- Strong experience with Vue 3 & Composition API including state management (Pinia/Vuex) and componentbased architecture.
- Expertise in SCSS/CSS3 and HTML5 ensuring responsive and accessible UI development.
- Experience with frontend testing frameworks such as Cypress (preferred) Jest Mocha or Selenium.
- Proven experience in setting up the full UI workflow from development to testing and deployment.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines preferably GitHub Actions for automated builds and deployments.
- Experience integrating RESTful APIs and GraphQL efficiently.
- Familiarity with Storybook for UI component development and documentation.
- Understanding of frontend performance optimization techniques (lazy loading code splitting).
- Experience working with Docker & DevOps pipelines for frontend applications.
Relevant job experience: 5 years of web application development with strong expertise in modern JavaScript frameworks (Vue.js preferred React.js or Angular also acceptable).
