Job Description
Position Summary
The Material Handlers primary responsibilities will include receiving stocking kitting shipping cycle counting and line stocking duties.
Position Responsibilities
- Minimum 6 months knowledge of warehouse functions
- Basic understanding of warehouse processes to support production
- Willingness to crosstrain in different warehouse processes or production
- Must have good attention to detail to perform cycle counts as needed. Receives moves/ locates and packs outgoing materials equipment and other items from the warehouse
- Report damages and inventory variances immediately
- Loads and unloads materials from pallets skids platforms cars lifting devices or other transport vehicles manually or mechanically
- Cleans and maintains supplies tools equipment and storage areas to ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Ability to work in a multitemperature environment Hot and Cold
Position Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Must be a team player and willing to help where needed
- Employees must abide by all safety protocols and utilize all required PPE
- Prefer candidate with experience utilizing various equipment including Sit down forklift reach truck and Turret truck. Candidates should not have an issue with going up to 30 ft. on equipment
- The ability to lift up to 75 lbs. position requires standing pushing pulling bending twisting kneeling and lifting for the entire duration of the shift.
- Work in a nontemperature regulated warehouse
