With the use and commercialization of laserinduced inertial fusion a clean and highly efficient power generation technology is coming within reach suitable to ensure a secure and scalable future energy supply.
We are looking for a Financial Planning and Analysis senior manager to play a critical role in supporting our financial planning forecasting and analysis functions in Germany. This position will be integral in ensuring accurate financial reporting supporting operational teams and driving insights to inform key business decisions. This role will also focus on process improvements and contribute to ERP and financial systems enhancement to support the companys growth trajectory.
What youll do:
Assist in annual budgeting quarterly forecasting and longterm financial planning processes.
Develop financial models and dashboards to provide realtime insights and support datadriven decisionmaking.
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including engineering R&D and operations to ensure alignment between financial plans and operational objectives.
Prepare monthly quarterly and annual financial reports and analyses highlighting key performance trends variances and insights.
Support financial reviews and presentations for senior management focusing on business unit performance and areas of opportunity or concern.
Participate in ERP and financial systems upgrades working closely with IT and finance teams to improve reporting capabilities and data accuracy.
Implement and monitor key financial metrics ensuring consistency and reliability in data used for decisionmaking.
Contribute to process improvement initiatives optimizing budgeting forecasting and reporting workflows.
Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations related to financial reporting in Germany.
Who you are:
Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Economics or a related field.
Strong depth of experience in financial planning and analysis or related finance roles with a preference for experience in the manufacturing hardware or hightech industries.
Strong skills in financial modeling data analysis and KPI reporting.
Handson experience with ERP systems and financial software (e.g. SAP Oracle NetSuite) preferred.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to present complex financial data to both finance and nonfinance stakeholders.
Proficiency in Excel and financial data visualization tools.
Familiarity with German financial reporting standards and regulations is preferred.
Strong organizational and problemsolving skills with an ability to work in a dynamic fastpaced environment.
