About the Role
This role is based in Mount Isa you must be residing in the area or be willing to relocate to Mount Isa.
MSS Security is looking for Security Officers in Mount Isa to provide a security presence access control mobile/foot patrols and respond to emergencies at our client site. You will be part of an enthusiastic committed and customer focused team.
Based locally you will work within a permanent 4 on 4 off rotational roster consisting of 12hour shifts of days and nights. Relocation support is available for people not residing in Mount Isa. You will be primarily responsible for ensuring only authorised vehicles and personnel enter site.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Site access control and traffic management
- Conduct mobile/foot patrols andvehicle/bag security inspections
- Perform drug and alcohol testing
- Organise security passes issue/sign keys in & out and lock/unlock buildings
- Provide customer service monitor radio communications and driver behaviours
- Provide emergency responseto incidents on site
- Prepare and submit accurate and timely electronic logs and reports
Skills & Experience
- QLD drivers licence
- QLD Security Licence unarmed security officer as a minimum
- Security Licence is funded by MSS Security where a return of service agreement is entered
- Current First Aid and CPRCertificate
- Willing to or hold a Certification to Collect specimens for drug of abuse testing certification (HLTPAT005 MSS will pay for successful candidates for this course
- Available to work a rotational roster consisting of day nights and weekends
- Intermediate level in Microsoft Office applications
