Summary:
Provides obstetrical patient care under the direction of a physician certified nurse midwife and or registered nurse.Responsibilities:
Reports abnormal assessment findings or changes in physical mental and emotional conditions to medical and nursing staff.Assists with keeping operating rooms and the triage clean stocked and orderly.Performs technical procedures as delegated including establishing IV access performing ECGs and vital signs/telemetry monitoring collecting specimens providing wound care and transporting patients.Assists physicians and nurses with performing medical procedures obstetrical surgical procedures and resuscitation.Competencies:
