Principal Responsibilities:
- Oversee and review the general ledger regularly to ensure accuracy and compliance with established accounting principles and procedures.
- Prepare and analyze financial and statistical reports as required.
- Coordinate and prepare for financial audits conducted by external auditors.
- Assist in the preparation of the annual budget and coordinate the completion of various required reports.
- Prepare and/or review required tax returns.
- Recommend changes in financial policies and procedures as necessary.
- Monitor and enforce internal controls to ensure proper compliance.
- Assist with planning and implementing changes in the accounting system.
- Manage and develop the accounting team providing guidance and mentorship.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting and analysis.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting or related field (Masters degree preferred)
- 5 years of exemptlevel experience in a manufacturing environment
- CPA certification preferred
- Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards

- Advanced understanding of accounting and auditing principles and practices
- Comprehensive knowledge of governmental financial administration including budgeting reporting taxation and revenue
- Familiarity with industryspecific regulations and compliance requirements

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite particularly Excel
- Experience with accounting software and ERP systems
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
Abilities:
- Examine and verify financial documents and reports with high attention to detail
- Communicate effectively both orally and in writing with all levels of management
- Prepare a variety of complex financial statements reports and analyses

- Demonstrate leadership and decisionmaking capabilities

MIN: $118k to $124k
