Job Description
Must include a cover letter with relationship to Mayo employee.
The ideal candidate has interest in both CAD and CAM capabilities with the abilityto adapt them into the dental laboratory workflows. They should also possess good hand eye coordination with an artistic thought process. While dental knowledge is not necessary for this position there is the opportunity to gain dental knowledge of processes. Duties include but not limited to: scanning dental models into CAD software and organizing into folder for future use in case design loading .stl files into CAM software potential design of dental cases pouring/trimming dental models fabricating fluoride carriers etc.
The Summer Employment Opportunity Program (SEOP) provides temporary summer employment opportunities to children stepchildren and spouses of Mayo Clinic employees enrolled in a college degree granting program of study and is intended to help supervisors accommodate employee vacation requests when seasonal work volumes are high.
Qualifications
Must be a child stepchild or spouse of a current Mayo Clinic employee.
Must be currently enrolled in a degree granting program.
Must be returning to college in the fall.
Must be able to work a minimum of 10 weeks.
Must be 18 years of age or older by the start of the program
SEOP employees should not expect vacation/daysoff to be approved during their commitment.
