This role requires knowledge of Shortterm Insurance processes business analysis experience in an IT context and a strong technical background including integrations. The role is responsible for overseeing the Business and System Analysis Helpdesk (Internal and External) Testing and Infrastructure and Desktop support functions. In addition the role is required to perform vendor management including managing priorities and plays a crucial role in the architecture of solutions from a strategic perspective.
Responsibilities:
Maintains information systems by planning monitoring and coordinating employees Offers coaching leadership and training to manage staff performance Assesses information systems results by auditing their application and results Participates in planning and designing technologies to meet the growing needs of the business Safeguarding assets by planning and implementing disaster recovery and backup procedures and information security and control structures Maintain safe and healthy working environment by ensuring that information systems staff complies with organizational policies Determine priorities and effective solutions to meet business requirements. Design usable elegant practical and scalable solutions to meet business needs. Conduct scoping sessions with vendors business users or testers. Plan and manage implementation of solutions on an enterprise level Support team members in achieving delivery objectives. Coordinate sprint planning. Provide technical and business support to team members
Minimum Requirements:
Relevant Degree (e.g. BCom B Bus Science degree) (with strong academic performance). Min of 5 7 years experience in an equivalent role (preferably in insurance)
