Job Description
Huon is seeking a selfmotivated Skipper to lead our vessel operations and crew at Hideaway Bay on a 7 on 7 off roster.
The role
As a Skipper you will be responsible for the operation upkeep and maintenance of vessels under 24 meters alongside leading a crew and ensuring compliance with work procedures. Responsibilities include:
- Operating and maintaining vessels and shipboard equipment.
- Mooring pens towing net installation/removal and grid maintenance.
- Managing refuelling operations loading/unloading vessels and operating cranes and forklifts.
- Ensuring compliance with safety procedures and completing necessary documentation.
Located near Dover you will be working a 7 on 7 off roster.
About you
- A minimum Master >24m NC and Marine Engine Driver Grade 3 (MED 3 with relevant experience.
- Leadership skills to manage and motivate crew effectively.
- Strong time management attention to detail and problemsolving abilities.
- Selfmotivated with the ability to work unsupervised.
- A proactive focus on improving processes and committing to selfdevelopment.
