Salary 38000 approx.
An excellent opportunity for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join a leading manufacturer based in Magherafelt. Reporting to the Engineering Manager you will be responsible for the for the introduction of new products and updating current products

The Role
- Design of existing products producing detailed designs for production.
- Report writing and presenting engineering reports on various areas of design.
- Producing production specifications and engineering drawings
- Gaining knowledge of all relevant legislation and applying to designs
- Mentoring junior design engineers
- Sharing your design experience in design review meetings to ensure the customer gets the best solution
- Applying Continuous Improvement methodology
The Person
- Degree educated in a related engineering subject
- 3 years experience in a similar role
- Good knowledge of 2D and 3D drawings
- Knowledge of Autodesk
