Service Technician Anderson Powersports

Location: Reno NV
Employment Type: FullTime

About the Role:

Anderson Powersports of Reno NV is looking for a skilled and dedicated Service Technician to join our team. This role involves performing comprehensive maintenance and repair services on a variety of vehicles. Our technicians play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction and vehicle safety while delivering topquality service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform bumpertobumper repairs on Powersports vehicles.
  • Conduct general maintenance including oil changes filter replacements and belt/hose inspections.
  • Perform diagnostic services including charging system analysis brake inspections and fluid leak evaluations.
  • Use factory specifications as the standard in all repairs services and customization work.
  • Maintain 100 productivity as a goal and complete work within the allotted time.
  • Work closely with the service writer and service manager to ensure proper job completion.
  • Assist service advisors by testriding vehicles interacting with customers and ensuring their satisfaction.
  • Ensure all necessary paperwork is completed and filed correctly.
  • Keep up with industry advancements by completing required training programs.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area ensuring a safe and efficient environment.
  • Provide outstanding customer service ensuring every customer receives highquality service.

Qualifications

Qualifications & Experience:

  • 25 years of experience as a technician or mechanic.
  • High School diploma or GED (preferred).
  • ASE Certification (preferred but not required).
  • Valid U.S. Drivers License with a clean driving record.
  • Strong ability to learn new technologies and adapt to evolving processes.
  • Ability to problemsolve prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • A safetyfirst mindset with a strong work ethic.
  • Basic computer skills for navigating web browsers and using standard applications.

Work Environment & Physical Demands:

  • Regular exposure to moving mechanical parts fumes airborne particles and electrical components.
  • Routine use of office equipment such as computers phones and filing systems.
  • Physical activity including standing walking stooping kneeling crouching and lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Vision requirements include close vision distance vision color vision peripheral vision and depth perception.
  • Work schedule includes evenings and weekends as needed.
