Job Description

Position Summary
We are seeking a Project Coordinator for ACHIEVE one of four Maternal Health Community Implementation Projects sponsored by the NHLBI ( UNCs project is a multilevel communityengaged clinical trial to test the implementation of an outpatient severe hypertension (O HTN bundle in 20 prenatal care clinics in NC. The goals of ACHIEVE are to: 1 engage community partners in increasing awareness and enhance respectful care delivery of the O HTN bundle; 2 engage clinic partners in adapting the O HTN bundle for their healthcare setting and patient population; 3 select and adapt implementation strategies for participating clinics; 4 implement the O HTN bundle across three consecutive clinic cohorts and 5 measure implementation outcomes such as fidelity to the bundle using quantitative and qualitative methods. Health equity principles will be incorporated into all aspects of the trial with the longterm goal of decreasing MCH disparities related to severe hypertension. The Project Coordinator will be part of the Administrative Core and manage three additional Cores (Clinical Integration Community Engagement and Measurement & Analysis) comprised of eight coinvestigators and additional faculty/staff/students. In collaboration with the Project Director the person in this position will develop and implement organizational processes protocols and workflows. Administrative and research duties include: Administrative: * Budgeting and monitoring project expenses * Working with subcontractors vendors and independent consultants to complete required paperwork * Assisting with monthly milestone reports to Westat (the contractor for NHLBI * Writing content for communications initiatives such as a website and social media * Monitoring and updating workplans and timelines * Planning meetings and events * Liaising with staff from the Center for Womens Health Research in the School of Medicine and other university entities. Research: * Assisting with components of the master study protocol and IRB applications and required documents for clinicaltrials registration * Supporting ACHIEVE faculty with researchrelated requests such as conducting literature reviews and creating infographics * Programming and administering surveys and generating descriptive statistics * Formatting and submitting manuscripts to peerreview journals * Creating PowerPoint slides and posters for sharing study results * Managing RedCap databases and generating reports The Project Coordinator will be an active member of the overall ACHIEVE Coalition which includes core members prenatal care clinic providers and staff and representatives from communitybased organizations. The Project Coordinator will report to the Project Director and supervise the Research Administrative Associate and Community Engagement Coordinator.

Required Qualifications Competencies And Experience
Required qualifications include: * A degree in public health or a related field * Experience in coordinating and managing public health or clinical research studies Required competencies include: * Quantitative and qualitative data collection and analysis skills * Ability to search for organize and summarize evidence and best practices from the peer reviewed literature and other online resources * Excellent writing and verbal communication skills * Familiarity with human resource and fiscal policies and procedures in a university setting * Fluency in MS Office programs (Word Excel Outlook PowerPoint Teams) and other project management and researchrelated software Required experience includes: * Developing and monitoring research protocols and processes * Writing reports for funders * Managing budgets and subcontracts * Meeting facilitation and event planning * Supervision of direct reports

Preferred Qualifications Competencies And Experience
Preferred Qualifications * Content expertise in implementation science maternal and child health and/or community engagement * Experience in managing large complex NIH funded clinical trials Preferred Competencies * Ability to multitask and manage multiple competing priorities * Ability to collaborate with a range of academic and community partners from diverse backgrounds * Familiarity with health equity principles and interest in addressing disparities and social determinants of health Preferred Experience * Working as part of a large complex study team with multiple internal and external partners * Creating content for websites and social media campaigns * Developing IRB applications data use agreements data sharing plans memoranda of understanding Other Support and other NIH required research documents
