Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead IT Technician to join our team in a remote capacity within the United States. As the Lead IT Technician you will be responsible for overseeing our IT support operations managing a team of technicians and ensuring the smooth functioning of our organizations IT infrastructure.

  • Lead and mentor a team of IT technicians providing guidance and support in resolving complex technical issues
  • Develop and implement IT policies procedures and best practices to optimize system performance and security
  • Manage and prioritize IT support tickets ensuring timely resolution of issues
  • Oversee the maintenance upgrades and troubleshooting of hardware software and network systems
  • Collaborate with other departments to identify IT needs and implement appropriate solutions
  • Conduct regular system audits and risk assessments to ensure compliance with security standards
  • Stay uptodate with emerging technologies and industry trends recommending and implementing improvements as needed
  • Manage IT projects including planning resource allocation and
  • Provide technical expertise and escalation support for complex IT issues
  • Develop and maintain documentation for IT processes systems and configurations

Qualifications :

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field
  • 5 years of experience in IT support or a related field with at least 3 years in a leadership or supervisory role
  • Advanced knowledge of IT infrastructure including networks servers and cloud computing platforms
  • Strong proficiency in network administration and security protocols
  • Expertise in troubleshooting hardware and software issues across various platforms
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to lead multiple initiatives simultaneously
  • Strong leadership and mentoring abilities with a proven track record of developing team members
  • Outstanding communication skills both verbal and written with the ability to explain technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders
  • Relevant IT certifications such as CompTIA A Network MCSE or CCNA
  • Indepth understanding of IT service management principles and best practices
  • Proficiency in implementing and maintaining IT security measures
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with keen attention to detail
  • Adaptability and willingness to learn new technologies and methodologies

Additional Information :

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY:  The salary for this position is anticipated to range between $64.000 $90.000. This range is a goodfaith estimate based on the qualifications necessary for the position including experience training and other considerations permitted by law.Factors that may be used when making an offer may include a candidates skills experience and geographic location the expected quality and quantity of work and internal pay alignment as needed. Most candidates will start in the bottom half of the pay range.The upper end of the range will generally be reserved for candidates with extensive experience.An employees pay history will not be a contributing factor where prohibited by local law.
