ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Participate in inventory activities and perform routine cycle counts in the implant room; reconcile discrepancies and maintain inventory accuracy.
- Place orders and issue purchase orders for implantrelated supplies.
- Maintain oversight of inventory levels and usage in the implant room including owned implants.
- Attend huddles for surgery scheduling coordination.
- Contact vendors and reps to confirm pricing tray availability and surgery schedules.
- Maintain data entry of purchase orders in the ERP system for billing and charge capture needs.
- Utilize barcode scanners for itemlevel tracking to support accurate data capture.
- Support reconciliation of implant use and charge capture through collaboration with the OR team.
- Assist with case costing and projected implant cost review.
- Communicate with physicians and offices on cases booked outside of established cap policy.
- Verify all implant pricing with vendors prior to surgery.
- Communicate with teammates regarding cost vs. reimbursement concerns.
- Keep work and storage areas clean and organized.
- Receive and unpack supplies as needed.
- Make shipment arrangements when necessary.
- Notify supervisor of supply or equipment concerns in advance.
- Any other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION:
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Associates degree or related certification is a plus but not required.
EXPERIENCE:
- A minimum of two years working with medical inventory supply chain operations or implant coordination in a healthcare setting.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
- Solid understanding of surgical implants and supply workflows in a clinical environment
- Comfortable using ERP and inventory tracking systems
- Strong organization and followthrough with high attention to detail
- Clear professional communication with both internal teams and vendor reps
- Ability to stay focused and adapt quickly when priorities shift

PHYSICAL/MENTAL DEMANDS:
