Job Description
Love to help people Valley View is seeking a skilled customer service specialist to assist our Medical Records/Health Information Management (HIM) Department as a fulltime HIM Specialist II.
NOT Remote position. Office located in Silt CO!
Were looking for someone with a high level of accuracy with attention to detail and critical thinking skills. Customer service experience preferred with the ability to function in high multitasking environment. Computer proficiency required with the ability to communicate appropriately and effectively with all staff coworkers and customers.

GENERAL OBJECTIVES
- Performs main medical record activities.
- Performs departmental receptionist/secretary duties.
- Performs scanning QA and document indexing activities.
- Performs periodic record review activities as directed by HIM Management
- Performs routine MPI management functions.
- Provides departmental coverage for birth certificate registrations.
- Provides Release of Information (ROI) services as needed.
REQUIREMENTS
- Medical Secretary Certification or Health Information Management courses preferred.
- Attention to detail.
- Consistency and accuracy in routine job functions
- Critical thinking skills
- Previous Health Information experience preferred.
- Computer proficiency required.
- Customer service experience preferred.
- Ability to function in a high multitasking environment required.
- Ability to communicate appropriately and effectively with all staff coworkers and customers.

SALARY
- Starting salary dependent upon education experience and skillset
- Position wage range: $20.00 $28.87/hour
