Job Description

Position Summary
The TEACCH Autism Program at the University of North Carolina is seeking an Autism Training Specialist for our Training Program based in Chapel Hill North Carolina. The Autism Training Specialist will hold a faculty position as a Clinical Instructor (fixedterm faculty) in the Department of Psychiatry UNC School of Medicine. The TEACCH Autism Program offers a variety of training and consultation services to professionals who work with individuals on the autism spectrum. Training and consultation services are offered in the state of North Carolina as well as to programs across the United States and around the world. TEACCH has a comprehensive Professional Certification Program that allows professionals to document their use of evidencebased practices. Responsibilities of the Autism Training Specialist involve providing training and consultation services as well as supporting and further developing the TEACCH Professional Certification Program. Trainings may be virtual or in person. The position will require travel within the state nationally and internationally. This position is open beginning September 1 2024. Recruitment is ongoing until filled.

Preferred Qualifications Competencies And Experience
Experience developing training models including inperson synchronous and asynchronous models as well as experience providing consultation is preferred.
