Job Summary/Description:

The Creative team at GDM Atlanta is looking for a new Motion Designer to join our awardwinning team. Create motion design assets for broadcast news brand design commercial production and community outreach. Our designers create assets for all media platforms on behalf of our brands and clients. including broadcast television digital media social media outofhome print and product displays.

The Motion Designer is a highlevel graphics and motion artist with at least three years of experience in a related field. This position is a fulltime inoffice role Monday through Friday. The ideal candidate loves feedback has great attention to detail is selfmotivated and meets deadlines consistently. The Motion Designer creates Daily News graphics for our awardwinning journalists; larger brand projects for multiple platforms; handles quickturn content for Breaking News and Severe Weather; and Digital / Social Media assets for all brand accounts and affiliate sites. Our Motion Designers are tasked with creating full design packages for various brands television shows broadcast news sports and entertainment. That gives you plenty of ways to flex your creativity and build a huge portfolio of creative assets.

Our brands host and cultivate community partnerships with leaders and local nonprofits and highlight people doing great things. Our creative team is expected to participate in a variety of community events that support that mission throughout the year.

Qualifications/Requirements:

Advanced design motion graphics creation and video editing and compositing skills.
Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop Illustrator After Effects Premiere Pro and related 2D or 3D graphics and editing software and plugins.
Fast when needed detailed always and learning constantly.
Knowledge of Chyron Prime graphic software or ability to learn.
Videography photography and lighting skills are a plus.
Professional and Collegiate Sports knowledge is a plus.
Strong understanding of visual marketing and advertising philosophy and techniques.
College degree or equivalent job experience in graphic design or video production.
Personable attitude and professional communicator.
Coachable creative who thrives on feedback.
