We are on the lookout for experienced hardworking and motivatedMPU Operators to join our growing Platinum familywe have permanent fulltime positions available within the Bowen and Galilee basins.
Reporting to the Site Supervisor these positions will be offered on a 7:7 even time roster with flexible travel arrangements dependent on site and location.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Safely and efficiently operating MPUs for manufacturing and delivering explosives
- Operate other associated machinery in line with onbench duties
- Assist with preventative maintenance
- Help with the handson delivery of explosive products and accessories on the bench
- Maintain excellent safety practices whilst following the direction of a licensed Shotfirer
You will have:
- Previous experience as a MPU Operator within the coal industry
- Standard 11
- QLD Explosives Security Clearance Card OR ability to obtain one
- Heavy Rigid (or greater) Driver Licence
- Statement of Attainment or proven training in conducting mobile mixing of explosives
- A cando attitude and excellent communication skills
- Fit healthy and ready to do the hard yards
- The ability to pass preemployment checks inclusive of medicals and national background checks
