Job Description
Austin Infrastructure/Austin Bridge & Road is currently seeking a Water/Wastewater Estimator for Water Projects in North Texas. This position will be part of a growing estimating team focused on waterworks construction will report to the Lead Estimator and will actively participate in estimating efforts toward building backlog in support of company organizational goals on water/wastewater infrastructure projects.

The role will report to our headquarters in Coppell Texas. We excel at what we do and are looking for talented construction professionals that want to excel with us.
This position will report to the Lead Estimator and will actively participate in estimating efforts toward building backlog in support of company organizational goals on water/wastewater infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have experience estimating civil and concrete disciplines.
Responsibilities
- Research and present bid opportunities for consideration
- Risk analysis and mitigation
- Review and analyze project plans and specifications
- Perform quantity takeoff and prepare cost estimates
- Obtain and review quotations from business partners to confirm best price along with work scope coverage
- Participate in the preconstruction phase of alternative delivery projects
- Solicit subcontractor and supplier quotes to assure sufficient coverage of all scopes
- Assist in schedule preparation and analysis
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Construction experience of 5 years which includes 3 years of estimating experience pursuing water/wastewater projects from $1M $50M.
- Bachelors degree in Construction Management or similar field preferred
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office BlueBeam and HeavyBid by HCSS a plus
- Strong oral and written communication skills
