Position Summary

All Guest Services team members play a vital role at the Saint Louis Music Park and Centene Community Ice Center as they are the first point of contact when a guest enters the building. As a representative of the facilities a friendly greeting attached to a smiling face goes a long way in helping our guests enjoy their visit and make memories that will last a lifetime. Providing top notch customer service is your responsibility. You will be essential in creating a safe and memorable experience for all guests. Perfect for college students teachers and retirees.

This role will pay an hourly wage of $15.00.

Benefits for PT roles: 401(k) savings plan and 401(k) matching.

About the Venue

Saint Louis Music Park is a 4500seat outdoor venue that hosts concerts festivals corporate events and more. Performers have included Alicia Keys Machine Gun Kelly The Avett Brothers 5 Seconds of Summer Jack White BUSH Benson Boone and many more. It offers an intimate outdoor amphitheater experience and boasts a fancentric pavilion featuring food trucks picnic tables yard games and more.

Centene Community Ice Centeris a stateoftheart facility designedfor hockey programming that is curated for all ages and skill levels. It houses three sheets of ice yearround and also features an outdoor rink for use in winter months. It is the official practice facility for the St. Louis Blues of the National Hockey League (NHL) and serves as thehome rink for Lindenwood University (NCAA DI). Alongsidehockey development programs the facility also offers freestyle skating and daily public skate sessions providing a unique experience forlocals to get on the ice.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively welcome guests and answer questions.
  • Identify opportunities to create memorable experiences for guests.
  • Perform thorough ticket checks and scans to ensure valid access into facilities and other ticketed areas.
  • Provide directions to ticketed seats and other facility locations.
  • Preventing guests from moving from one seat to the next.
  • Respond to and/or escalate guest complaints concerns and compliments.
  • Assist guests with reasonable requests for accommodation including but not limited to wheelchair escort services.
  • Maintain clear portals aisles and access paths for guests staff and emergency services.
  • Effectively communicate safety and security measures.
  • Reports any suspicious activity to supervisors and/or management. Monitoring your section for additional and continuous assistance.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
  • Assist with potential chair strikes at end of evening.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated ability to follow instructions and work in a fastpaced environment.
  • Must have strong verbal skills.
  • Ability to handle stressful situations.
  • Previous experience in a customer servicebased industry is welcomed.
  • Previous experience within a sports entertainment or related field is welcomed.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and nights.
  • Must be able to lift 1015 pounds.
  • Must be able to tolerate exposure to multiple external elements extensive walking through the venue including steps exposure to loud noises and standing for long periods of time.
