Other Conditions:
For placement in lecturer pool for Fall 2022 Spring 2023 and/or Summer 2023. Positions are part time temporary and nontenurable; and contingent upon course offerings and sufficient enrollment position clearance and availability of funds.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Teach various Asian Studies courses at the undergraduate level.
- Design the syllabus that meets College of Arts Languages and Letters (CALL) and the Department of Asian Studies course requirements conducing all scheduled classes grading and maintaining office hours for each course taught.
Minimum Qualifications:
- M.A. in Asian Studies or Arts & Sciences Public Administration or Business Administration with a concentration in Asian Studies.
- Demonstrated ability to teach interdisciplinary undergraduate courses.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Ph.D. in hand or current enrollment in a Ph.D. program in Arts & Sciences Public Administration or Business Administration with a concentration in Asian Studies.
- Current or recent research in Asia
- Ability to work effectively in a multicultural setting.
- Experience in teaching online courses.
