Job Description
Ross Memorial Hospital (RMH) is an active acutecare community hospital located in the heart of the City of Kawartha Lakes. Among our acute and continuing care services our team cares for 45000 patients per year in the 24/7/365 emergency department provides orthopedics and ophthalmology operates a dialysis unit and is renowned for its mental health programs and restorative seniors care. Position Summary
Reporting to the Board of Directors the President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) will be a highly visible inclusive and strategic leader possessing exceptional interpersonal and communication skills sound judgement an unyielding focus on quality and safety and financial acumen. Collaborating with the Board senior leadership team staff physicians and volunteers the President and CEO will advance RMHsStrategic Plan and establish corporate goals and objectives while cultivating an environment of empowerment innovation operational excellence and accountability. The President and CEO will forge and sustain positive and durable relationships with key internal and external stakeholders including Ontario Health the Ministry of Health and community partners positioning the Hospital as an integral component of an integrated and responsive healthcare system.
The preferred candidate is a critical thinker has a systemsoriented perspective and the ability to catalyze transformative change. As a trusted leader the President and CEO embodies integrity resilience and compassion. A Masters degree in Health Administration Business Administration or clinical discipline credentials along with a minimum of 10 years of progressive leadership experience within the healthcare sector is required.
