Description
The Project Manager will be integral to the environmental compliance of our products utilizing project management principles to oversee the of compliance projects. The Project Managers core responsibility is to create and maintain detailed project plans regularly communicate with stakeholders and monitor project progress towards meeting key milestones while upholding Emerson business initiatives and pushing continuous improvement.   • Drive sustaining engineering activities related to environmental compliance
  • Manage and update project management tools
  • Organize and lead project management and scheduling meetings
  • Update stakeholders on project milestone status and risks
  • Communicate and coordinate with Business Unit resources (design and product engineering test and evaluation global supply chain materials research and development data analytics etc.
  • Support short and longterm capacity planning
  • Actively participate in continuous improvement activities to support business performance
  • Perform material analysis and product analysis necessary to support the product planning process
  • Assisting with project administration for product change management
  • Research collect manage and analyze data for EU ROHS REACH Prop 65 China GB WEEE Batteries Packaging and TSCA to support a range of diverse sustainability strategies.
  • Percentage of travel <10

Who You Are:

You ask the right questions to accurately analyze situations. You marshal resources (people funding material support) to get things done. You work through formal and informal channels to build broadbased relationships and support. You know what motivates different people and align work accordingly.

For This Role You Will Need:

  • BA or BS degree
  • Two or more years project management experience or other relevant experience
  • Mastery of Project Management concepts
  • Legalauthorization to work in the United States Sponsorship will not be provided for this position
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
  • Lean and Continuous Improvement experience preferred
  • CAPM or PMP ideal
  • Detail oriented with high standards of quality
  • Selfstarter comfortable working independently with limited direction
  • Process improvement and problemsolver mentality
  • Ability to work effectively in teams and interact with all levels of the organization.
  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills.
  • Manage and manipulate data using statistical analysis
  • Ability to take initiative stay organized and multitask
